umm...

run, I pant, I gasp for breathe
As I dance in intoxicated rave
I yearn to tear my heart apart
In those mighty nine minutes on stage

The void, the nerves and the music along with
Sharp lights falling on the face
Can I afford to blink lest I sway wrong?
In those only 9 minutes on stage

Life is a stage and we are mere players but there is an altogether different life on stage, a life that is framed within 24*36 wooden block. I don a different role, an altogether novel avatar cry with it, I revel in its joke, and I live with it. But the irony becomes apparent when the self and the character become incomprehensible .The body reacts and crunches with the failure of role , the heart shrinks at every drawback, the "wrath" faced , the "Tears "poured and the " Touch" felt in the time course are  the proof of the real performance. The 9 minutes on stage are magical, almost surreal.

The applause and the claps are the reward for a performer. The louder they are the better as it gives a euphoric feeling to the heart. The anxiety to win and the satiation after the win - just like the gratified feeling after eating a ton of Belgian dark chocolate ice cream - out of the world, delightful and indulgent. The nine minutes are the road to all and there is all in it to be explored out and out.

There are times when i feel drawn towards the western way of living , the advanced setup, casino's, Halloween, the stupendously clean roads, junkie food like mega sized burgers , pepperoni pizzas etc etc ...and then *boom* u suddenly come to the realization with little little events in life.

I m completely addicted to street food... the chai, chole bhatoore, golgappe, bhel poori, dhai bhalle and tikki seems to be an integral part of our constitution. the crave and the hunger pangs for the spiced up food asserts the same furthermore.while browsing through my picasa albums, i came across a few pictures clicked while i went on a travelling spree in summer vacations and ' dastakala samaroh' - a handicraft festival with a friend.

naiveté - creations from chilhood to present

when i was pretty young - in 8 th grade or something, i saw a few random cartoon characters in a book... me and my cousin decided to sketch them down, and ...we badly failed. we were not skillled enough to give the right curve to donald's beak or mintain the size proportion of goofy's nose and his mouth. later on i started abstract drawings with ball point pen , designing my own name and sometimes hiding the letters of my name and then asking the others to figure out (totally child-e-ish) but that is how you spend time when you get bored and when there is a restless zest in you.:).notice the dates at the side of the drawings.

and now the present...
though i haven't created any such exemplary or   magnificent piece of art but i loved whatever i did in my room and for some friends and here  are some of the pictures from the collection

(2007)This is a wall collage i made .it is currently in my room .the title says " joie de vivre" - happiness of life. There are pictures of the people who are integral part of my life, my childhood memories, bittersweet moments and a graffiti board for ppl to write on .

(24/12/09) this is a picture collage me and surbhi( my best mate) presented it to our dear pal Neha on her budday. after a lot of brain storming, color changes, messy hands (colored by paints), we finally came up with a beautiful. the  whacky tags we made are the point of attraction in this creative piece ;)

made on 16/7/09. made it for our pal surbhi with my one of my other best mate neha, at her place. the whole scrap book contained hinglish headlines, puns , pictures etc ...again after a lot of debate over the page s and content, thise beautiful pages emerged( ignore the date of cam).the pictures and content was the usp of the scrapbook. following are a few more images...

blog the blob!

The reasons y i chose to blog:

1. laziness- its easy typing then sitting down and writing stuff.

2. Being a mere mortal by nature i suffer from normal anxieties and complexities which are inbuilt in our mind and sometimes u feel the pressure to KiCk it out!

3. When the diary journal becomes a compendium of warfare, chafes of lovey dovey events, etc etc :P

4. When you have done enough of face booking, status updates, quizzes and watching your old pictures...obviously u feel the need to do something 'better'

"Writing is sanity" it keeps me sane and alive...
I know that one day i ll grow old and recall how super loco n whacky i was in my young age and read my own pieces and laugh off :D .sort of a far sighted vision.
